Young people from all over Bulgaria debated for more than two hours how to stop youth emigration, how young people can start their professional career and how can we find jobs in times of crisis at the discussion “Youth Unemployment During Crisis”, organized by the BSP Youth Union in Yambol on the 7th of October 2012.
Unemployment, decent pay and education were the three keywords repeated over and over again during the discussion.
Participants and keynote speakers Dragomir Stoynev, chair of the Employment and Social Affairs Committee at the National Parliament, and Yavor Gechev, BSP Youth Union Leader, shared many proposals but agreed that ideas cannot be carried out during this government. Dragomir Stoynev pointed out that there is money in the budget, but the government’s spending priorities lead to economic suffocation of most of the citizens in Bulgaria and lack of perspective for young people in the country.
