On the occasion of the forthcoming European Parliament elections but also of presenting our new PES City Group in Crete (the first in Greece), we plan to host an event - discussion at Crete on "The next day of the European Union through the vision, values and the practical policies that The Group of the progressive alliance of Socialists and Democrats and the Party of European Socialists demonstrate. » The event is going to be organized by the S&D and Crete PES City Group.

The event is structured in three panels and will take place in two days in two different cities at Crete.

Day2. Saturday 08/02/2014 10.30 - Heraklion - Socialists & Democrats: The Vision

Day2. Saturday 08/02/2014 12.30 - Heraklion - Policies against austerity & inequality

The panels will consist of experts in the areas of social and political sciences from Greek Universities, of S&D members of European Parliament, of representatives of S&D Parties in Greece, of PES members and of local professionals. There will be parallel interpretation in Greek and English.
