Eurofound prognostiziert 15 Billionen Euro Kostenlawine

„Der Europäische Rat und die Kommission müssen endlich umsteuern und anfangen, längerfristiger bei der Bekämpfung der europäischen Jugendarbeitslosigkeit zu denken. Die Folgen für die europäische Wirtschaft  und für die Gesellschaft werden immer teurer.“ Jutta Steinruck, Sozial- und Beschäftigungsexpertin der SPD-Abgeordneten im Europäischen Parlament, reagiert auf die gestern veröffentlichen Ergebnisse der Eurofound-Studie zur Situation junger Menschen auf dem europäischen Arbeitsmarkt. 

On October 20 and 21st 2012, the Youth Union of the Bulgarian Socialist Party organized a discussion on youth unemployment in Ruse. PES President and BSP Leader Sergei Stanishev was a key speaker at the event that gathered young people from local NGOs and Student Councils in Ruse University, as well as young socialists from all over Bulgaria.

"Die Situation der europaweit bereits 14 Millionen jungen Menschen zwischen 15 und 29 Jahren ohne Job und Ausbildung, sogenannte 'NEETs', ist nicht mehr hinnehmbar. Das aggressive Sparen und Hinauszögern der konservativen EU-Politiker hat hier zu einer dramatischen Fehlentwicklung geführt", kritisiert Regner, stv. Delegationsleiterin der SPÖ-Europaabgeordneten, am Dienstag gegenüber dem SPÖ-Pressedienst. "NEET" steht für "Not in Employment, Education or Training". ****
